Question by Keepin: My mom had me at 13 and she freaks out about the idea of me getting pregnant?

I'm 17 and she wants me to be abstenant from sex until marriage because she doesn't want me getting pregnant young and ruining my life. But I dont like the fact that she doesn't trust me to be responsible when it comes to sex. I know she didn't have a childhood and I know that she had to give up everything when she had me and I know it wasn't easy raising a kid without an education but I just wish she would realize that I'm sensible and I wouldn't let that happen, please help

If you believe your responsible you don't have to show it. You can show it when you're old enough, married or not, and have kids when you're stable enough with a house and money.
